Welding II Career Studies Certificate


Degree:  Career Studies Certificate Welding II

Length:  This career studies certificate is a one semester certificate.

Purpose:  This curriculum provides advanced welding skill training that will be useful in a broad range of industrial careers.

Occupational Objectives:  This curriculum provides both hands-on training and a detailed knowledge base in the most prevalent welding and cutting processes used in industry today.

Admission Requirements:  Admission to the Career Studies Certificate program is based upon the general requirements for admission to the college.

Suggested Credits for Semester: 18

Note:  First 8 weeks include: WEL 166; WEL 124; WEL 161; Second 8 weeks include:  WEL 235; WEL 141; WEL 142

Note:  SAF 127   is prerequisite for all welding classes
