EMS 162 Pediatric Basic Trauma Life Support (PBTLS)

Offers instruction for students in current topics of care for trauma patients and offers certification as a International Trauma Life Support Provider (ITLS) as defined by the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Lecture 1 hour per week, 1 Contact hour.

Prerequisite(s): Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT, EMT-E, EMT-I, EMT-P) certification/ licensure ,or other associated healthcare field.
